Audiologist Job Type Contract Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated School-Based Audiologist to join a supportive educational team for a school district in St. Martinville, Louisiana. This full-time opportunity requires 4 to 5 full days per week, for 30+ hours a week , working with students ranging from 3 years old to 12th grade . The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in schools and supporting students’ auditory needs to enhance their learning experiences. This position will extend throughout the entire 2025/2026 School year!
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct hearing screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students. Develop and implement individualized audiology plans. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ auditory needs. Recommend appropriate assistive listening devices and hearing aids when necessary. Provide education and training to school personnel regarding hearing-related concerns. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology (AuD or Ph.D.) Active Louisiana Audiology License (or ability to obtain before the start date) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferred Experience working with pediatric populations or in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt services to meet the diverse needs of students
