PHM is the audiology department of Keith D. Jorgensen MD Professional Association, which includes a busy ENT specialty department and allergy department. We are looking for an individual that is enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking, and interested in a long-term working relationship in a team environment. The ideal candidate will be patient-centric, self-starter, and an organized multi-tasker in completing clinical functions. Strong clinical skills with experience in audiologic evaluations of adults and pediatrics, hearing aid dispensing, hearing conservation, auditory rehabilitation, and counseling are required whilst adhering to company policies and procedures. The Audiologist must represent our practice with professionalism and possess the strongest of communication skills while maintaining a positive attitude, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week, Monday – Friday with an hour for lunch.

Knowledge of:

Procedures and methodology of auditory rehabilitation; Needs and methods of referral; Audiological testing techniques, methods and apparatus; Operation and care of audiological equipment; Medical charting, documentation management, and reporting; Current device technology from the major hearing aid manufacturers.

Ability to:

Determine auditory rehabilitation needs; Deal tactfully and sympathetically with patients.

Typical Tasks:

Confers with medical staff regarding need for diagnostic audiologic evaluation; Performs routine audiologic hearing evaluations as well as special diagnostic tests; Cerumen management; Evaluates the needs and types of hearing rehabilitation and makes appropriate referrals for such needs; Evaluates need for hearing aids; Orders appropriate type of amplification for patient specific treatment; Accurately fits prescribed amplification and makes subsequent checks to verify patients’ needs are met.

License/Certification:

Active and current NH Audiology Licensure – Required Supplemental pay types: Productivity bonus pay
