A school district in Clifton Springs, NY, is seeking a skilled Audiologist to provide specialized support to K-12 students for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic environment working with students across a broad range of needs, including mild to severe disabilities, autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down syndrome.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for students across all grade levels, K-12. Develop and implement individualized audiological plans tailored to students’ specific needs. Collaborate closely with educators, speech-language pathologists, and other related service providers. Monitor and manage hearing aids and assistive listening devices within the school setting. Provide ongoing support and education to staff, students, and families about hearing health and accommodations. Maintain accurate records in compliance with educational and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Audiologist License required. Experience working with a diverse student population, including those with disabilities and special needs. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to address the unique audiological needs of students in an educational environment. Commitment to supporting student success through effective hearing services.
