Job Description

Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (Brent, AL) Madison’s Journey ABA Therapy, LLC 2261 Main St, Brent, AL 35034 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at our Brent, AL location. In this role, you will work closely with children with developmental disabilities, implementing individualized care plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their behavioral goals while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Willing to train the right person. Registered behavior technician preferred or willingness to obtain RBT upon hire (usually takes up to a month). RBT-15$/hr; BT-$13.50/hr. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills through structured activities. Monitor and document client progress, maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide updates on client’s daily progress. Maintain a safe environment for clients by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures. Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of behavior management techniques and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Skills Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.
