As theRegional Board Certified Behavior Analyst, you will provide expertbehavioral support and consultation across multiple Spectrum Schoollocations within an assigned region. This includes, but is notlimited to conducting assessments, developing behavior interventionplans, training staff, and ensuring compliance with relevantregulations and standards. This position works under the supportand direction of the Area/Regional VP, Operations and onsiteProgram Directors to enhance the academic, social, emotional, andbehavioral outcomes of students through use of evidence-basedinterventions and in collaboration with the operations andeducational staff from each campus within assigned area. ?

Responsibilities Include:

Conducting Functional BehaviorAssessments (FBAs) for all designated schools to identify thecauses and functions of students’ challenging behaviors. Creatingand implementing BIPs that align with Spectrum standards anddistrict guidelines, addressing the individual needs of eachstudent. Supporting the development of measurable, objective IEPgoals and facilitating progress monitoring in collaboration withon-site instructional personnel. Implementing evidence-basedinterventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral andeducational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic,social, emotional, and independent functioning. Providing crisismanagement intervention and support for students exhibitingaggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies toreduce the need for 1:1 staffing. Collaborating closely withon-site education teams to collect and analyze data on studentbehavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriateintervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals.

Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assignedregion at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; makingrecommendations for improvement based on analysis of data.

Supporting the development of on-site teams within assigned thearea through delivery of training on behavioral assessment,intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisismanagement, and other relevant topics. Providing guidance andsupervision to staff members within assigned region pursuing BACBcertification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA), as agreed with the ProgramDirector or VP of Behavior Services. Assisting in the developmentand implementation of improvement plans for assigned campuses toenhance student performance and staff effectiveness. Engaging inmulti-disciplinary on-site and regional team meetings to discussbehavioral needs and contribute to the development of comprehensivesupport strategies. Monitoring and ensuring adherence of allcampuses to Department of Education regulations and internalstandards for educational and behavioral service is maintainedwithin assigned area. Maintaining accurate and detailed records ofassessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities.

Providing operational support to all schools in the assigned area,focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staffretention, and development. Performing other related duties asassigned to support organizational success. ?

QualificationsRequired:

Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis,special education, psychology or a closely related field of study.

Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board certifiedbehavior analyst (BCBA) credential. Ability to obtain and maintaincertification in company-approved crisis management training.

Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an educationspecialist or special education teaching credential (Mild/Mod orMod/Severe) preferred. Hold currently or have the ability to obtaina valid CA state driver’s license. Prior experience and/or highlyknowledgeable in training and implementing applied behavioranalysis (ABA) techniques including effective teaching strategies,classroom management, data-driven decision-making and functionalanalysis/behavior intervention plans in an educational setting.

Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning,emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders and/orother related disabilities preferably in a special educationprogram setting. Proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks andmeet deadlines while maintaining organization and attention todetail. Solid motivational skills and willingness to be flexibleand adapt to changing priorities and new initiatives. Advanced oraland written communication, organization, conflict resolution,multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability.

Knowledge of relevant technology including experience withinstructional technology, Microsoft Office Suite, database entryand basic office equipment.
