Job Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Gains Behavioral Services 1211 N Main Ave, Sylacauga, AL 35150 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will be responsible for assessing and developing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral changes. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on the principles of applied behavior analysis. Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management techniques. Collaborate with other professionals involved in the care of clients to ensure a holistic approach to treatment. Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Board Certification in Behavior Analysis is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Proficient in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of client information. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
