Summary As a Behavioral Specialist at Oak Hill, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with behavioral health needs. This position involves working closely with children and adults with various disabilities, implementing effective behavioral strategies, and contributing to their overall development and well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans for clients. Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Provide training and support to staff on behavioral management techniques. Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Engage with families to provide guidance and support regarding behavioral strategies. Requirements Master’s degree in psychology, social work, special education, or a related field. BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in behavioral health settings. Strong understanding of special education practices and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and families. Ability to collect and analyze data related to client behavior and progress.
