Position Summary:

Behavior Health Technician Supervisor assists the counselors/therapeutic/nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults who are receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs and/or community-based programs. This position serves as a role model, mentor, and/or assistant trainer to other Behavior Health Technicians. Behavior Health Technician Supervisor is responsible for, but is not limited to:

• Providing direction and feedback to other Behavior Health Technicians during shift.
• Establishing a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
• Assisting persons receiving services to complete activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others.
• Ensuring the safety of the person receiving services.
• Implementing specific interventions according to the person’s treatment or service plan.
• Monitoring and documenting the person’s progress.

Role Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related area of study from an accredited college or university; or two (2) years of experience working with adults.
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred.
• Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families, as required.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.
• Complete advanced CPI within 3 months of hire date (as offered).

Compensation:

Base pay ranges from $17.50

• $18.75 an hour based on experience with an additional supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) for the Crisis Stabilization Unit. Shift differential pay is $2.00
• $4.
