ABA Therapy Technician Coastal Behavior Analysis, LLC Vero Beach, FL 32960 Full time, Part time Are you interested in joining a supportive and collaborative team focused on providing ethical and data-based ABA treatment in an early intervention clinic-based setting or home and community setting? At Coastal Behavior Analysis, we offer collegial support, assisting everyone to grow as team members and encouraging staff to hone individual interests and skill sets. Our services are provided in a face-to-face format and supervision time meets, but typically exceeds, the minimum required by the BACB. Coastal Behavior Analysis, LLC is comprised of a group of professionals dedicated to serving individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders and behavior problems. Our team consists of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Clinical Psychologists. Together we aim to improve the lives of our clients as well as their families.
Position Summary :
RBTs work directly with clients to deliver high quality behavior analytic services with BCaBA/BCBA supervision. Full-time hours available.
Responsibilities :
Review behavior plans and any relevant materials (i.e. instructional materials) provided by the supervising staff member (BCBA) Implement behavior plan protocols and strategies within the client’s behavior plan to enhance the skills and overall quality of life for the client. Utilize proper protocols (as identified in the behavior plan) to manage problem behavior Collect accurate data on provided data sheets and provide to supervising behavior analyst Complete daily notes and ensure time records are accurate and submitted by the required time Open communication with other staff members and supervising behavior analyst
Minimum Education, Training and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent At least 18 years of age Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentialing through the BACB (required) Prior experience work with children with disabilities (preferred) Will be responsible for the completion of training as outlined in the employee handbook and provide proof of renewal of required trainings as needed
Requirements:
Ability to pass level 2 background screening Obtain and maintain professional liability insurance Verifiable references Ability to seek supervision and support when faced with an issue, behavior or situation unfamiliar with Ability to take and use feedback
