The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves working closely with clients, their families, and other professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote positive behavior change and enhance quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and monitor client progress. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies. Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in behavioral health. Qualifications Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles, medical terminology, and documentation practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members. Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress. A compassionate approach to patient care that prioritizes the well-being of clients. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
