The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing behavioral therapy to enhance patient care. This role requires a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring effective interventions are utilized. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support clients’ progress. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Train and supervise staff in the implementation of behavior intervention strategies. Stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral therapy. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Familiarity with patient care protocols and special education frameworks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Understanding of patient assessment techniques and behavioral analysis methodologies.
