The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their behavioral health and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide holistic support for clients. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients effectively. Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and continue professional development. Qualifications Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and developmental disorders. Experience working with children, particularly those on the autism spectrum, is preferred. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with inhalation therapies may be beneficial but is not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
