The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to enhance the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral interventions. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify behavioral challenges and needs. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct behavioral therapy and support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions to promote positive outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is essential. Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health is preferred. Experience in patient assessment, including the ability to analyze data and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance in patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
