Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one support for a client in their home setting. This position involves working directly with a client under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The ideal candidate will assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and provide effective support through applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques. This role is specific to this client’s home and schedule. Please ensure your availability aligns with the listed hours before applying.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide direct support to the client in a home setting, ensuring safety, engagement, and skill development.
  • Implement proactive strategies to manage behavior, including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Functional Communication Training (FCT), and other ABA techniques.
  • Assist with activities that support the development of social skills, communication, and independence.
  • Collect data on the client’s progress and behavior changes, maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA to adjust and improve care plans as needed.
  • Provide updates to the family to ensure consistency and alignment in care strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
  • Previous experience conducting ABA therapy in home settings is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
