In this role, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, implementing behavioral therapy techniques and supporting their development. You will be responsible for collecting research data, maintaining academic records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in special education or related fields and a passion for improving the lives of those with behavioral challenges. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based. Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Maintain accurate academic records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with other professionals, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive patient progress. Provide support and training to families on behavioral strategies and techniques. Assist in the development of educational materials and resources for clients. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy. Qualifications Experience or education in special education, psychology, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with research data collection methods is a plus. Understanding behavior principles and techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and their families. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations. Previous experience in patient care or behavioral therapy is highly desirable.
