This position is for weekend hours. There is ability to work more hours when coverage is needed during the week. Supervision is provided at no-cost towards advanced certifications. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals, particularly children, who have developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. This role requires the willingness to learn applied behavior analysis strategies and the ability to implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. The Behavior Technician will play a crucial role in supporting patients’ development and improving their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles. Provide direct client care, assisting individuals with skill acquisition and behavioral interventions. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Engage with families as needed to provide support utilizing behavioral strategies. Assist in diagnostic evaluations as needed, contributing valuable insights into client behavior. Uphold a safe and supportive environment for all clients, promoting their dignity and respect. Requirements Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques or willingness to learn. Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times. A child-centered approach with a genuine desire to help others improve their lives. Certification or training related to behavior analysis or similar fields is a plus, but not required.
