JOB SUMMARY
: The primary function of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is to develop, program and monitor Applied Behavior Analysis focused treatment service delivery options to meet the needs of our clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. The Analyst would be in charge of creating a center-wide ABA program structured around focused treatment for students in the ELITE Program and from the community. They would also be responsible for ABA consultation with teachers and families and ongoing supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
: Perform functional behavior assessments, preference assessments, and functional analyses as needed. Develop, implement and monitor behavior support plans and individualized treatment plans. Provide staff, parents, preschool teachers and community members support & training regarding classroom/home management and approaches to problem behavior. Perform skill assessments (ABLL’s/AFLS’s/VB-MAPP). Provide direct one-on-one instruction. Complete progress reports and treatment plan updates as required by funding agencies. Assist invested parties with and graphing and analyzing data. Supervise and Support the direct behavioral support team (Registered Behavior Technicians). Properly report all critical incidents and safety concerns regarding persons receiving services. Ensure that documentation is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established organizational procedures and insurance requirements. Maintain a safe work environment. EXPERIENCE
: A Master’s degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA preferred. Experience with the VB-MAPP and early intervention programming Experience with school-based services is a plus
CERTIFICATION
Possess and retain current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. Must be eligible or have a Medicaid Provider Number As time permits, obtain and maintain DCF trainings for childcare.

Work productively to develop relationships with individuals, families, and natural supports. Proven creative abilities, strong organizational and time management skills. Current knowledge of HIPAA law. Ability to secure and retain a Medicaid Provider Number. Ability to operate copier, computer and fax machine. Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES
: Able to see and hear clearly, close up, receive oral communication via phone and in person, and to provide a safe environment. Able to lift and carry items or children weighing up to 50 pounds. Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach.
