Responsibilities:
Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in treatment approach Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior strategies at home Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Experience:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans Experience in data collection and analysis for monitoring progress and making treatment decisions Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals
