The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges. This BCBA role involves working closely with children and adults with disabilities, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct therapy. The BCBA will ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records while fostering a supportive environment for both clients and their families. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavioral changes. Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring that interventions are tailored to meet their unique needs. Collaboration of BCBA with families, caregivers, and other professionals to create a cohesive support system for clients. Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary. Conduct diagnostic evaluations for BCBA to determine the appropriateness of interventions and adjust strategies based on client progress. Provide training and BCBA to support to staff members on behavior management techniques and best practices in patient care. Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis through continuous education and professional development. Experience Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles, behavioral therapy techniques, and patient assessment methods. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality in patient care. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment while demonstrating patience and empathy towards clients.
