The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions that promote positive outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop effective treatment plans. Implement and monitor individualized behavioral therapy programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care and support for individuals with disabilities. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies. Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback. Advocate for patients’ needs within various settings, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld. Requirements Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, is preferred. Strong knowledge of patient care practices and behavioral therapy techniques. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored interventions that promote growth and independence.
