The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and monitor behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles. Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and client records in accordance with HIPAA standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and family members on behavioral strategies. Advocate for clients by promoting their rights and access to necessary services. Skills Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and methodologies. Strong understanding of medical documentation practices related to behavioral health. Expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis and its application in various settings. Experience in research data collection and analysis related to behavioral therapy outcomes. Knowledgeable about working with individuals with developmental disabilities and their unique needs. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient care coordination. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and data protection.
