Behavior Technician (RBT) Sunrise Behavioral Therapy Vidalia, GA 30475 Behavior Technician Sunrise Behavioral Therapy is dedicated to providing exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities. Overview:
Sunrise Behavioral Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in their homes, working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients achieve their developmental and behavioral goal.
Duties:
Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA to address client’s specific needs Provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to clients Document client progress and behavior data accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency in treatment approach Assist in crisis intervention when necessary Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills Assist individuals with autism in developing social, communication, and daily living skills Utilize positive reinforcement and other ABA techniques to encourage desired behaviors. Communicate effectively with the BCBA and other team members regarding client progress and any concerns. Provide consistent and reliable support to clients and their families.
Experience:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred, but not required upon hire; must be willing to obtain) Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred). Knowledge of ABA principles are preferred Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals with autism and their families
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes. Willing to travel to client’s homes in Vidalia and surrounding cities CPR certified 18+ years old
