American Training, a non-profit Human Service agency, is seeking a full-time Licensed BCBA . In this role you will be responsible for Functional Behavioral Assessments, data review/analysis and the writing of behavior and safety plans.
Responsibilities include:
Completing Functional behavior assessments. Writing behavior and safety plans. Analysis of data. Training of staff on behavior plans and data collection. Providing Trauma-Informed Care Training.
Skills needed:
Knowledge of Department of Developmental Services and Human Rights regulations. Exceptionally strong communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to write effective behavior management plans. Ability to work collaboratively. Good community relations skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements:
Currently licensed in Massachusetts as a BCBA. Three years’ experience working in the field of mental health and developmental disabilities. Valid driver’s license required and use of personal vehicle. Satisfactory CORI and background check. Flexibility to work in Residential Homes.
Physical and emotional effort:
Frequent walking, moderate standing and driving. Work environment frequently hectic, fast-paced with periods of high stress. Must be able to calmly and analytically respond to crisis and/or crisis situations. Must be able to appropriately intervene in medical, psychiatric and behavioral crises.
