Qualifications:
Experience in creating & implementing Functional Behavioral Assessments, Behavior Intervention Plans Experience supporting, coaching, & modeling for school staff in the use of the above, as well as other de-escalation strategies and techniques and general classroom behavior management systems Experience at a variety of grade levels and developmental abilities
Responsibilities:
Work directly and consult with students, staff, and families across the school district Conduct FBAs for students in general and special education and other identified areas of the schools Collaborate with the district SEL director, Special Services director, school principals, and contracted outside agencies to assist staff and students with resources to address behavioral needs Collaborate with the directors about other responsibilities of a behavioral interventionist in the district
