In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with behavioral challenges, implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary focus will be to support clients in achieving their goals while fostering a positive and engaging environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on client progress, ensuring accurate documentation of behavioral changes and interventions. Assist in the development of treatment goals and strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client behavior and needs effectively. Provide patient care by engaging clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development. Maintain medical records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in special education and behavior analysis. Skills Proficiency in medical documentation practices and maintaining accurate medical records. Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles. Experience working in special education settings or with children who have behavioral challenges. Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation and patient assessment methodologies. Ability to collect data effectively to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, families, and team members. Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
