Full Job Description Behavior Technician Hours:

Melrose, MA:

Monday-Friday 4-6 PM The client responds best to male staff. We are looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Duties:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
• Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist with training and coaching caregivers on behavior management techniques
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records

Skills:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral therapy setting
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
• Familiarity with special education practices and strategies
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
