Amergis Staffing is partnered with a much-respected district in Fitchburg, MA who is currently seeking a qualified ABA Paraprofessionals to assist them on a contractual basis.

ABA Paraprofessionals /

Behavior Technicians Position:

25/26

School Year Behavior Support Description:

Para 2 openings are available for all grade levels
Positions are primarily in sub separate sub-classrooms; some positions are 1:1, some general classroom/small group
Elementary and Middle have the most needs, and some at High School
One year of ABA experience is highly preferred
Working with students who have ASD, developmental disabilities, or other behavioral/developmental diagnoses
Student behaviors may include aggression, eloping, flopping, or behaviors that are injurious to themselves or others
Candidates must be able to speak to the following skills: de-escalation (and any training they have had), working with students with trauma, data collection (types taken/programs used), discrete trial experience, and any other ABA experience
Must be flexible to help in other classrooms if needed, cover recess, lunch, or bus duty, changing/toileting may be required

Pay Rate:
