What we offer:
Pay starts at $20.00 – $23.00 per hour with increases of $1-$4 in the first 3-6 months. ABA Behavior Technician/ ABA Therapist Overview :
Under the supervision of a BCBA, the ABA Behavior Technician or ABA Therapist role provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism (ASD). A Therapist is assigned 1-2 Cases, and clients are seen individually throughout the week. We focus on building strong rapport with the client and their family through consistent assignments. Therapy sessions usually run 3-5 hours and primarily take place during after school hours in the client’s home, Community, and/or at our Center in Auburn. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable). ABA Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist Responsibilities Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Working with families for effective collaboration Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner Electronic Data collection Implementing individualized behavior support plans Implementing skill acquisition programs ABA Behavior Technician / ABA Therapist Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (Required) Valid Driver’s License (Required) Friendly and energetic, enjoy working with individuals with needs Experience working with children Ability to attend an initial orientation Timely and organized Ability to work independently Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations Common titles for this position: ABA Therapist, ABA Techs, ABA Technicians, Behavior Therapist, Behavior Technician, Registered Behavior Technician, ABA Instructor, ABA Tutor Apply today to learn more about you can join in our mission to serve families throughout the Worcester Metro Area!
