7 July 2025 End date: 7 Aug 2025 (Possible extension) Total hours: 15-25 Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional. Assist in conducting diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and progress. Provide direct patient care, engaging clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support the client’s overall well-being. Monitor client behavior and report any significant changes or concerns to the supervising clinician. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral therapy. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and practices. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Knowledge of special education techniques and strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life through behavioral therapy.
