We are seeking an amazing and talented BCBA Consultant to join our team at our private special education school located in Kittery, Maine! Kittery Academy blends education with emotional and behavioral support services for students from around the seacoast region.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree (Required) Current BCBA in good standing (Required)

Summary:

The BCBA works in our special purpose private school implementing Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support (PBIS) programs as well as individualized behavior plans. They collaborate with school personnel and consultants who oversee school placements, IEPs, and behavior planning to ensure program efficacy and to ensure that the needs of the students are in accordance with best practices. They also work with BHPs (Behavioral Health Professionals) to support and teach the necessary skills of the practice method. They support the Mission of Connections for Kids and follow the Policies and Procedures of the agency. They work in the schools to provide support, behavior management skills and behavior plan implementation for the BHP’s who are working to improve the child’s functioning while at school.
