Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills Assist in reducing problematic behaviors in a school settings for students Proficient in Moderate and Severe Behavior Caseloads, De-escalation, providing emotional/academic support, and Behavior redirection. Working on a rotating 1:1 role in a self-contained classroom
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred but not required Maine ED TECH Level 2 or Level 3 is required Must have a Current and Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) – experience will not be considered without an RBT license Must have experience working with moderate autism/behavioral disabilities Minimum of 1 year experience working with K-2nd school students (both male and female students) experience working 1:1 with behavioral students, autistic support, life skills, and emotional support How to
