Autism Center of Excellence is currently seeking responsible, caring, and dedicated people to fill Behavior Technician positions in our company. Job Description Provide direct care services and specialized care in daily living, social and recreational activities. Provide assistance and support to foster maximum independence of individuals. Participate in the development and implementation of the individual support plan. Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals. Assist and encourage individuals to engage in various activities in the home and community. Observe individuals’ behaviors and changes in physical condition, utilize prescribed strategies to assist the individual, and document and report accordingly. Write and maintain confidential client case notes, billing information, and all relevant reports, as well as information for parents and other professionals Participate in required 10-20% supervision per month with BCBA per month Report hours planned per week to work directly with a client in ABA related services once schedule is provided Perform needed housekeeping and cleaning duties (home and vehicle). Perform any additional duties as deemed necessary by the director Protect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

Proof of high school diploma or transcripts. Fluent in English and Spanish A valid driver’s license with proof of car insurance, a good driving record and your own reliable vehicle. Experience working with children, children with disabilities, or adults with disabilities is a plus. An unstoppable passion for excellence and an unquestionable commitment to those we serve. Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must be able to react quickly and to respond to sudden movements of the client Must be able to walk and stand 75% of the work day Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, crawl and sit on the floor throughout the work day or for an extended period of time. Must be able to quickly move short distances (up to 100 ft) to engage with client. Reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal background check Willingness to commute to and from client homes and or clinics within 30 mins in each direction to provide services Motivation and commitment to become a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days of employment via our innovative training program that prepares you to be a successful RBT Benefits of working at
