JOB SUMMARY
The RBT works with clients on the Autism spectrum, providing direct service to the client within their home or school. The treatment program will follow the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and occurs under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and programs to increase communication, daily living skills, social skills, play skills, and more. Manage challenging behaviors Support clients with Autism in their homes, schools, and community settings Find creative ways to keep clients motivated to learn Communicate effectively, and professionally with the client, client’s family, and therapy team Work collaboratively with other therapists, providers, BCBAs, caregivers, and school staff for effective program implementation Take direction and feedback from the supervising staff (BCBA/BCaBA) Collect accurate data on a client’s progress using Central Reach Complete required trainings related to organization guidelines, compliance, state and federal regulations Accurately record and maintain scheduled appointments in the practice management software daily and comply with billing and payroll policies Adhere to and ensures all patient privacy policies, HIPAA compliance and confidentiality Travel to and from client homes and other service locations Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Knowledge of general ABA practices Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check
