Behavior Technician

MANAGEMENT CARE SERVICE STAFFING

Behavior Technician Duties:
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities, such as autism, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using established methods and tools
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent and effective treatment strategies
  • Support clients in acquiring new skills and reducing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or developmental disabilities
  • Knowledge of special education principles and practices
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to track client progress
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
