Job Description:

Lighthouse is seekingpassionate and dedicated BCBAs to join our growing North Carolinateam. As you build relationships with children and their families,your work will have a direct impact on their growth, development,and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Conductingfunctional behavior assessments and writing reports summarizingresults
  • Develop positive behavior support plans
  • Overseeing theimplementation of the treatment plan
  • Assist staff in day-to-daytraining for targeted behavioral needs and in implementing behaviorsupport plans
  • Train staff to implement strategies to prevent theoccurrence of target behaviors and de-escalation strategies
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of data and make programming adjustmentsas needed
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degreein Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related program
  • BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA
  • Required)
  • North CarolinaBehavior Analyst Licensure (required or eligible)
  • Prefer aminimum of one year of work after BCBA certification
  • Experienceworking with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Spanish-speaking a plus
Knowledge & Abilities:
  • Utilizing theprinciples of ABA to influence socially important behavior
  • Usinga team-based approach to reduce the occurrence of problem behavior
  • Serving individuals with intellectual and/or developmentaldisabilities
  • Collaborating with team to create optimalenvironment for behavior change
  • Effective written and verbalcommunication skills
  • Ability to multitask
