The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for clients through effective behavior management strategies. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and monitor behavioral therapy interventions, ensuring they are tailored to each client’s unique requirements. Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support clients in various settings. Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral analysis. Skills Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices. Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical documentation standards. Experience in providing patient care, particularly in behavioral therapy settings. Familiarity with working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. Background in special education is preferred. Excellent data collection skills for monitoring client progress effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and team members. Ability to work compassionately and patiently with diverse populations.
