Job Description:
Lighthouse is seekingpassionate and dedicated BCBAs to join our growing North Carolinateam. As you build relationships with children and their families,your work will have a direct impact on their growth, development,and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Conductingfunctional behavior assessments and writing reports summarizingresults Develop positive behavior support plans Overseeing theimplementation of the treatment plan Assist staff in day-to-daytraining for targeted behavioral needs and in implementing behaviorsupport plans Train staff to implement strategies to prevent theoccurrence of target behaviors and de-escalation strategies Provideongoing monitoring of data and make programming adjustments asneeded
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree inApplied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or related program Board CertifiedBehavior Analyst (BCBA – Required) North Carolina Behavior AnalystLicensure (required or eligible) Prefer a minimum of one year ofwork after BCBA certification Experience working with individualswith intellectual disabilities Spanish-speaking a plus
Knowledge &Abilities:
Utilizing the principles of ABA to influence sociallyimportant behavior Using a team-based approach to reduce theoccurrence of problem behavior Serving individuals withintellectual and/or developmental disabilities Collaborating withteam to create optimal environment for behavior change Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask
JobType:
Part-time Salary:
$100.00 – $105.00 per hour
