Job Description

Applied Behavior Analysis Medscoders 130 Turnberry Way, Pinehurst, NC 28374 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ABA Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your primary goal will be to enhance the quality of life for your clients by fostering their social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Implement individualized ABA therapy programs as designed by the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments. Collect data on client progress and behavior to ensure effective treatment outcomes. Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide support and education on behavior management strategies. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and skills. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Assist in developing goals and objectives tailored to each client’s unique needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. Certification or training in ABA principles is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
