Job Description
Category Schools – RBT – Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 support to a middle school student with severe behaviors. The role is based in Cary, NC, within a middle school setting, and offers a contract position for the full school year.
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized behavioral support for a 7th-grade student with severe behavioral challenges. Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Maintain detailed and accurate data collection throughout the day. Collaborate with educational staff and therapists to promote positive behavioral outcomes. Support the student in various settings throughout the school day to encourage skill development and appropriate behavior.
Desired Qualifications:
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in middle school settings. Background in supporting students with severe behavioral needs preferred. Ability to follow detailed behavior intervention plans and collect consistent data. Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families.
