The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement and oversee behavioral therapy programs tailored to each client’s unique requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure holistic care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in accordance with regulatory standards. Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies. Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and provide resources for families navigating services. Requirements Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, special education practices, and patient care principles. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Proficiency in behavioral health concepts and techniques related to behavioral therapy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with medical records management and diagnostic evaluation processes is preferred.
