FFS – Fee For Service Position located in Haverhill MA & Methuen MA areas The Behavior Technician will be responsible for the implementation of clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and provision of ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills, at the direction of their supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data on client behavior, and report the data back to supervising BCBA. The Behavior Technician will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in client behavior.

RBT Qualifications:
A high school diploma or a GED and have 24 months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth or families OR An associates degree or higher in either a human, social, or educational services discipline, or a degree or certification related to behavior management from an accredited community college or educational institution and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families OR Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and have 12 months experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, children, adolescents, transitional age youth, or families
Other Requirements:
Required availability after school, evening and late evening hours Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills Experience in applied settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred Effective written and verbal communication skills A compassionate approach to care

Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervision of fieldwork experience for candidates seeking the BCBA or BCaBA credentials. A two-year contract is offered following successful completion of fieldwork experience. Northeast Family Services encourages interested staff to obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential by offering RBT 40 hour training, initial competency assessment, ongoing skills-based supervision, and a $100 bonus upon obtaining RBT credential. Hands on training, with ongoing clinical support from supervising BCBA Access to multiple, free monthly professional development and training activities on a rotation of relevant topics and skills Individualized supervision, focused on achievement of professional goals and skill advancement Access to company technology, with productivity agreement of 20+ hours/week Tuition reimbursement program available to eligible employees Flexible schedule, built to meet staff needs
Compensation:
