Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and responsible House Technician to support residents in a structured sober living environment. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused atmosphere by monitoring activities, enforcing house rules, and assisting residents with their daily routines.

Responsibilities:

Supervise residents and ensure compliance with house rules and policies Conduct routine checks, including room and chore inspections Monitor and document resident behaviors and incidents in shift logs Administer and observe drug/alcohol screenings as required Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and leadership Address conflicts or concerns with professionalism and empathy Support residents in maintaining a clean and orderly environment Ensure the safety and security of the facility during assigned shifts Assist with intakes and discharges Provide crisis support and de-escalation when necessary Attend regular staff meetings and trainings

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Experience in recovery, behavioral health, or residential settings preferred Familiarity with 12-Step or other recovery programs is a plus Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain) Must pass background check and drug screening Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred (if applicable)
