The Lake Shore Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Behavior Specialist (See attached description.)
Reports to: Building Principals, Director of Pupil Personnel and/or District Administratration

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher education in Education, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a related field; Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in a related field.

Certification:

Preferred candidates will hold a certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and/or NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst

Salary:

Per the LSCTA Contract

Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Additional Job Information :

The Behavior Specialist provides interventions to targeted students to increase responsible behavior and reduce negative behavior including but not limited to small group and one-on-one interventions, as well as documents, maintains, and discusses data with students, teachers, administrators, parents, and others to determine the impact of the interventions. The Behavior Specialist provides leadership and direction at the school and district level, working to design, implement, coordinate and evaluate a comprehensive behavior and social-emotional support program.
