Duties and Responsibilities:

Observingpatients and assessing their behavior Meeting with families,teachers, or doctors to discuss the patient’s treatment andprogress and recommend ways to address behavioral issues Developingindividual plans to correct, maintain, or improve certain behaviorsCreate simulated conditions where you will observe the behavior ofeach client Formulate an appropriate treatment plan that issensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensoryneeds Administer treatment and tailor interventions as neededSuggest additional treatment by other professionals as requiredOperate within time, financial, and other resource constraintsRemain abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practicesAdvocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders anddisabilities within society Board Certified Behavioral Analyst(BCBA)

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven work experience as a BCBAor similar role Knowledge of appropriate referral proceduresExcellent verbal and report writing skills Calm, empathic, andpatient nature The ability to remain composed and adherent to bestpractices, even when under duress Relevant training and/orcertifications as a BCBA
