Job Description Lighthouse is seekingpassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team ofprofessionals. As a Behavior Technician, you will provideone-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism and other specialneeds under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
As you build a relationship with children and their families, yourwork will directly contribute to their growth, development, andimproved quality of life. Responsibilities Your responsibilities asa Behavior Technician at Lighthouse will include the following:
- Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a BoardCertified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide one-on-one therapysessions to children, following individualized treatment planstailored to their specific needs.
- Teach and reinforce appropriatesocial, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive andstructured environment.
- Foster a positive and engagingtherapeutic relationship with clients, promoting their independenceand well-being.
- Conduct assessments, collect data, and trackprogress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate withthe BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review progress,address concerns, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers, providing updateson therapy goals, progress, and strategies for generalization ofskills to the home setting.
- Maintain accurate and detaileddocumentation of therapy sessions, including progress notes anddata collection.
- Participate in ongoing training and professionaldevelopment opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills inABA therapy.

Requirements
- Candidates must have a high school diploma orequivalent
- Previous experience in ABA therapy or working withindividuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, but not required.
