We are seeking a Level 2 Behavioral Intervention Specialist to: Provide services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services. Supervise entry-level Behavioral Intervention Specialists. Practice and promote the agency’s mission statement in every interaction. Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.

• in Nassau or Suffolk We require: Master’s degree in a clinical or treatment field of Psychology, Behavior Analysis, Social Work, LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) or BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst).

Clean and Valid NYS Driver’s License. At least one (1) year of experience working directly with people with I/DD, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.
