Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support/training for teachers, related service providers, support staff in data collection and implementation of behavior management strategies Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and create Behavior Intervention Plans Progress monitoring and reporting of Behavior Intervention Plans and Support Plans Setting up ABA programs to include discreet trials, verbal behavior programming and ABA techniques Crisis response and staff training Parent training Conducting/facilitating team meetings Participation at CSE meetings to report on data collection, progress toward goals

Drug Screening Physical Examination Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must hold New York State Special Education Certification, School Counseling, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist Certification Must hold or be working towards BCBA certification
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
Bilingual preferred NYS Special Education certification preferred
EXPERIENCE
Working in a school setting with students on the autism spectrum and/or students with behavioral challenges
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
BCBA/Behavior Therapist experience
