Python Full Job Description Key Objectives:

Support trend and analytics team in monthly close activities by: Refreshing procedures to update claims, claimants, and membership tables Update working claim file with most recent information, ensuring data quality throughout Refresh related Tableau data sources & dashboards not on an automated schedule Identify areas for workflow improvement and process automation Generate Mental Health Parity reporting Support state level requests throughout the year, leveraging Excel based templates and partnering with medical Parity counterpart. Explore potential for automated dashboard Maintain Tableau reporting and update as needed COGS dashboard updates & maintenance Meet other recurring Excel-based deliverables to accounting and reserving teams Assist in creating SQL templates to increase self-service and upskilling on related teams Contribute to improved documentation or SOPs and version control tooling Support ad hoc requests including data-pulls from the team Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics Experience querying relational databases with SAS/SQL or Python/R Intermediate knowledge of Tableau required Possess data validation skills and great attention to detail Experience with versioning and documentation Modeling, trending, forecasting skills a plus or desire to learn Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of success Ability to independently perform while managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines Intellectual curiosity, a self-starter who proactively seeks to understand Ability to deal with ambiguity and turn into clear plans / actions Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal (formal and informal) If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
