The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role is crucial in providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their behavioral goals and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA. Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions. Assist clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions. Collaborate with families to ensure consistency in care plans and strategies. Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of client information. Document all interactions and progress in medical records accurately. Requirements Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles. Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health. Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with clients, families, and team members. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards. Previous experience in behavioral therapy is preferred but not required. A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential through effective support.
