In this role, you will work closely with individuals who require support in managing behavioral health challenges. You will implement treatment plans, collect data on patient progress, and assist in the development of therapeutic strategies. Collect and document data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently. Provide support to clients in various settings, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Assist with medical documentation as required, adhering to HIPAA regulations. Engage with clients using evidence-based techniques to promote positive behavioral changes. Monitor vital signs when necessary and report any concerns to the supervising clinician. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers and addiction counselors to provide comprehensive care. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and their families. Requirements Experience or education in behavioral health, social work, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with data collection methods and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of PTSD care techniques is a plus. Ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents, demonstrating patience and empathy. Understanding of addiction counseling principles is beneficial. Strong adherence to HIPAA guidelines regarding patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
